Chef Kshitiz Shekhar, Executive Chef of Mumbai’s Marine Plaza hotel awarded Chef of the year award of Sarovar Group of hotel. The award was handed over to him by Anil Madhok, Managing Director, Sarovar Group of hotel in glittering ceremony. The award ceremony was held at Hotel Seyfert Sarovar Premiere, Dehradun September 6th, 2019.
Chef Kshitiz is working with Sarovar group since last three years. He is a skilled culinary professional, recognized for a comprehensive knowledge of international & Indian cuisine with an innovative approach to setting the stage for a customized dining experience. Kshitiz has numerous awards in his kitty that includes India’s top 10 chefs by Best of India Biz Award and India hospitality F&B Pro world Expo in 2018. He is also Awarded Nestle young Star Chef in 2005. He is invited on various platforms periodically to share his culinary thoughts and ideas. He is one of the committee members of Western India Culinary Association (WICA).
Chef Kshitiz has vast culinary experience working in leading hotels in India and abroad. He began his career with ITC hotels in Mumbai under Executive Training program and never looked back thereafter. He also has worked with Sheraton St. Louis City Center, USA.
His other experience in leading hotels includes Hotel Sahara Star and Intercontinental Marine Drive to name a few.

This annual event was attended by Corporate Heads, General Managers of all Sarovar hotels across the country and overseas, as well as key Sales and Marketing associates from across all regional offices in India. Sarovar group has 75 operational properties and 25 under various stages of development.
