The Leela Mumbai offers traditional Parsi cuisine for 3 days at their prominent restaurant Jamavar. The Parsi food curated by Behrose Khandadia, a home chef. He has been into the catering business for around 25 years, this pop –up will feature signature Parsi delicacies and family favourites. The festival is on from 16th August – 18th August.
Authentic Parsi fare includes Paya soup and classic appetizers like Egg Chutney Patties, Mutton Cutlets, Chicken Kababs, Kheema Pattice, Chutney Balls or Cheese Corn Kababs. signature specialties includes Patrani Macchi, Salli Boti, Prawns Patio, Chicken Farcha, Dhansak , Salli Potato par edu and Vegetable stew to name a few.
Accompaniments comprised of Dry Bombay Duck Patio and Sarya. Must try the all – time favourite Berry Pulao. No Parsi feast would be complete without dessert. Relish Dinshaw’s Delight which comprises of the traditional Parsi Sev, sweet dahi and Mawa ni Boi or opt for Freny’s favourite, the ultimate combo of Lagan nu Custard, Chapat and Malido dry fruits.
