Chef Jerry Tan from Chengdu – Sichuan curates Sichuanese Cuisine at Sofitel Mumbai

Offering best of the cuisine to Mumbaikar’s Sofitel Mumbai BKC has come out with gastronomic experience of Sichuanese cuisine at their prominent All-day Dining Pondichéry Café. The Sofitel Mumbai in association with Fairmont Chengdu, brought in Chef Jerry Tan to curate the best of exotic flavours from the land of China, through a 10-day food festival from Friday, 10th to Sunday, 19thMay 2019. Chef Jerry Tan from the capital city of the Sichuan region – Chengdu, has been specially flown down to curate authentic delicacies

It may be noted that Sichuanese cuisine is dominated by peppery, chili flavours, and best known for a liberal use of condiments like chili, garlic, cinnamon, dried orange peel, scallion and more. Chef Jerry Tan has curated authentic delicacies such as Sautéed Diced Chicken with Chili Pepper, Sweet-scented Sichuan Osmanthus Fish, Sichuan Spicy Fried Rice, Chicken Pepper MaJi, Stir-fried Meat with Sichuan Pepper, Mango Sago and more.
